This Popup Waste Bar Hands out Beer in Exchange for Beach Trash

Drishti Marine, a private company which has been given the contract for providing lifeguarding services in Goa has implemented an innovative concept for trash collection as part of their ‘TeraMera Beach’ campaign. They set up a pop-up waste bar at the Zanzibar shack in Goa where a free beer were handed out to any customer who collected and deposited at least 10 discarded bottle caps, 20 used cigarettes or 5 plastic straws from the beach.
