Road Safety to be part of Goa School Curriculum

The Goa State Road Safety Council meeting was held in July 2018 and several important decisions were taken by the state government to improve road safety conditions in the state – namely, inclusion of road safety in the curriculum of a hundred aided and government-run schools, rectification of 57 accident spots on highways as well as action against unauthorized vehicles carrying school children. Steps taken to reduce road accident fatalities and supporting infrastructure to improve road safety were also reviewed.
